Who we are
This waitlist is run by Antonije Mirkovic, who decides how your details are used and is the data controller. “We” in this notice means Antonije Mirkovic. Questions or requests go to contact@mirkovic.dev.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- If you are at university: its name, the year you expect to graduate and what you study.
- If you are at high school: the year you expect to finish and what you would like to study. We do not ask for the name of your school.
- If you are working: where you work and what you do.
- Your country, worked out from your IP address when you sign up. Our host also uses the IP address to stop too many signups coming from one address. We do not store the IP address.
- How you found us: the campaign tags in the link you used, and the website you came from (its domain only).
- When you signed up, and which version of this notice you saw.
Why we collect it
- To email you about the launch and give you your priority place in round one. Nothing else lands in your inbox unless you agree to it.
- To understand who has signed up, so we can plan what we build and where.
- To show partners statistics about the waitlist as a whole, such as how many people study each subject or graduate each year. These never identify you, and we leave out any group smaller than ten people.
We never sell your details, and we never pass your name, email or answers to another company without asking you first. If you do well in a round and could be introduced to the firms behind it, we ask you before sharing anything, and you can say no.
Our legal basis
Your consent, given when you join the waitlist (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time by emailing contact@mirkovic.dev, and we then delete your details. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before you asked.
Using your IP address to stop repeated signups rests on our legitimate interest in keeping the waitlist free of spam and abuse (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
Who handles it for us
- Supabase, our database. Your details are stored in the EU, in Stockholm, Sweden.
- Vercel Inc., which hosts this website.
Both act only on our instructions, under a data processing agreement. If either needs to reach your details from outside the EU or EEA, that is covered by the EU's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
How long we keep it
Until we launch, and for at most 24 months after you sign up. If you create an account when we launch, we will tell you then what we keep. Ask us and we delete your details sooner.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, to restrict or object to how we use them, or to get a copy you can take elsewhere. Email contact@mirkovic.dev and we will answer within a month. You can also complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (datatilsynet.no), or to the data protection authority where you live.
Age
The waitlist is for people aged 16 or over.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and uses no trackers.
Changes
If we change how we use your details, we will update this notice and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent again.
